Meet Caroline.

As someone who has always loved taking pictures, what turned my hobby into a business was my family’s move to Northern Uganda when I was thirteen years old. The move was initiated by my parents’ work with International Justice Mission (click here to learn more about their incredible work), a faith-based organization that works to end modern-day slavery all over the world. While over there, I was asked by a fellow if I would take their family photos. I fell in love with family photography and also got paid 10 bucks. Throughout the rest of my year in Uganda, I photographed families, engagements, events and maternity sessions. Upon moving back to Nashville to start high school, I decided to formally launch the business and pursue my dream.

While living Memphis for four years and pursuing a degree in English Literature, Caroline Allen Photography (CAP!) continued to grow. Upon graduation, I decided to pursue this full time. I believe I was created to create by a profoundly creative God, and that this is holy work!

Seeing the world through a perspective anchored in beauty, I promise to deliver images that are not only beautiful, but that are deeply meaningful. Balancing both documentary and classic photography styles, I will photograph your wedding and life with intention, passion and delight. I would also love to become your friend!
